Valence will be at the NETA PowerTest 2015 Conference in Nashville, TN

The NETA PowerTest Conference is one of the best conferences in the industry. It starts on Monday, March 2nd with a series of 45 minute lectures from industry experts. There are several tracks, or themes, to choose from, so there is almost always someone talking about something you are interested in at any given moment. I’ve met or seen the following people speak in the past and you should put them on your list if you are interested in the topics:

  • Improving Reliability – Beyond Compliance – Karl Zimmerman and David Costello, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories – Monday, March 2nd at 9:30 am
  • Open-Circuited CT Misoperation and Investigation – Karl Zimmerman and David Costello, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories – Monday, March 2nd at 2:15 pm
  • Test the System, Not the Element – William Knapek, OMICRON electronics Corp. USA – Monday, March 2nd at 3:15 pm
  • Maintenance Testing of Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breakers in a Large Automotive Assembly Plant – Mose Ramieh III, PGTI & Randall Sagan, MBUSI – Monday, March 2nd at 4:15 pm
  • Commissioning Generator Protector Relays – Scott Cooper, OMICRON electronics Corp. USA – Wednesday, March 4 at 8:00 am
  • Digital Relay Event Report Analysis – Karl Zimmerman and David Costello – Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories – Wednesday, March 4 at 1:15 pm
  • Commissioning Multifunction Digital Relays – Are We Taking Too Many Shortcuts? – William Knapek, Scott Cooper, and Tim Walker, OMICRON electronics Corp. USA – Thursday, March 5th at 1:15 pm

I’ll be wandering around the conference and we will have our booth set up during the trade show on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 3rd where we’ll have a few signed copies of The Relay Testing Handbook available. We will also have the 1924, 1940, and 1949 versions of Silent Sentinels from our blog series available for viewing for those who are interested.

Hope to see you at the show!
