We have uploaded our second YouTube video, Understanding Microprocessor Relay Logic – Basic Digital Logic. (http://youtu.be/DEN-ZEtEZ5c) This video discusses how you can convert the digital relay logic found in microprocessor based relays and translate that logic into electrical schematics or other logic schemes.
This video series is a re-creation of the first paper I ever presented from the NETA conference in 2001 that was the foundation of The Relay Testing Handbook series.
The video describes the most basic microprocessor relay logic, including:
- Comparators
- Timers
- And Gates
- OR Gates
- Nand Gates
- Nor Gates
We’ve learned a lot about the YouTube format while creating this series and, unfortunately, it turns out converting PowerPoint to video is a little dry. Future video series will be much better.
We hope you found this video informative and hope you’ll stick with us as we get better with each series.
